I’ve had a perfectly wonderful evening. But this wasn’t it.

Tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 2nd, is one of the BIG days for birthdays. Julius Marx was let loose on the world on that day. There was never anyone like him, and, as far as I can tell, ever will be. How can there?

Words of wisdom. . .

I can’t tell you how much we could use another wit as his. .. . .

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, misdiagnosing it and then misapplying the wrong remedies.

We took pictures of the native girls, but they weren’t developed. . . But we’re going back next week.

Those are my principles. If you don’t like them I have others.

I sent the club a wire stating, PLEASE ACCEPT MY RESIGNATION. I DON’T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT ME AS A MEMBER.

. . . I miss him. . .

  1. I'm so glad you got something out on Groucho. I missed it completely.
    Remember:
Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend, inside of a dog, it's too dark to read!
